East Neuk Opens Two "Diplomatic Colonies"
Dr G. John Bhoywonder today announced the settlement of Cellard**e, The East Neuk's first colony. The island territory lies within the EuroIslanders archipelago, and Dr Bhoywonder was bullish about the opportunities it opens for cooperation with the Allied States: "The Allied States of EuroIslanders is an organisation with which East neukians will find much common ground. cellard**e is the gateway that will bring the best of EuroIslanders to The East Neuk and the best of The East Neuk to EuroIslanders."
ENN commentator Wembley St.John has emphasized the importance of Cellard**e for The East Neuk's local ambitions: "the East Neuk's candidacy for Alliance of Socialist States Minister for development has been built upon Dr Bhoywonder's proposed outreach programme of "Development Attaches". If the Cellard**e project is a success, it will send an message to the Alliance that The East Neuk has what it takes to make its proposals work. Cellard**e should be seen as central to the Ministerial campaign."
The Presidential colonial circus then rolled on to the Anticapitalist Alliance, where Dr Bhoywonder welcomed the first settlers of Cupar, which will co-ordinate East Neuk relations with the Anticapitalist Alliance.
Dr Bhoywonder, in a speech to the settlers, said "I am delighted to be able open this permanent channel with the Anticapitalist Alliance. The citizens of Cupar can know that they will be working with one of the most important, vibrant and commited organisatons in the world."
The colony will be administered by Consul Julian Gray, who also serves as Ambasador to the Anticapitalist Alliance. Consul Gray spoke of his domestic policies for Cupar: "Many of our first citizens are employed in the Basket Weavers' Co-operative and the Cupar Fish Emporium, but we will soon be bringing in a substantial academic sector from The East Neuk to take advantage of the opportunities for exposure to a myriad of cultures here in the AA. I believe there is no better place for the students of the East Neuk to experience at first hand the internationalism that underpins the political and moral foundation of the Neuk"
Stay tuned to ENN, where we will be bringing you the response from leaders of EuroIslanders and the Anticapitalist Alliance.
