Talk about the story; suggest corrections or just talk about the event. Do you remember where you were when you heard Grub was deleted? On the other hand, are you thinking, “Who is Grub?”

What do you mean, "Who is Grub?" Grub is one of the most respected players in the game, and if anyone deserves to be a moderator that isn't already so, it's definitely Grub.

I'm glad that Neut took into account all of the mitigating conditions here. This looks to me like it was really a minor misinterpretation of the rules on Grub's part. Sometimes, I think people in positions of authority are drawn to enforce rules and laws rather than the spirit of the law. I find it unfortunate that Grub was never told that what he did was wrong, and I hope that it is a lesson learned for everyone (especially founders).

After last night, I was thinking about the (apparently) highly technical aspects of what Founders may and may not do, and I wondered: Does anyone know whether Delegates are allowed to clear spam in the same way as Founders? Especially in regions that don't have a Founder? Would hate to find myself on the wrong side of Neut ...

Although I didn't know that Founders had to specify that they were clearing their board of spam while doing so...I'm glad I never got caught clearing the DU regional board of spam.

Can anyone point to a sticky on Founder (and Delegate) board clearing rules in the NS Forum?
It really looks like this was a highly improvised ruling...
