I'm not looking for a fight. I just don't want to see NWR be degraded even further by questions of conflict of interest.
News stories have no business being sponsored by anyone. And before you give me crap about advertising in newspapers and TV, they are rarely connected to the stories themselves, and if they are, it's subtle and deplorable. Overt advertising like this, attached specifically to a news story threatens what meager trust NS has in NWR. If nobody else is going to tell you to refrain, I will.
No hard feelings, it's just a matter of professionalism.

I must have mistook it for retro then. That is what RadioWorld did in its early days.

well, the way I see it, in the reporting world, you have the diamonds (the ones that are out for quality and try their best to do a good job) and then you have the ones that aren't quite diamonds, and just kind of 'Twinkle' OR - you are a diamond

I must have mistook it for retro then. That is what RadioWorld did in its early days. I wasn't around then, but it was a mistake to do it back then as well. Anyway, it's just a small point... keep up the good work.
