It seems that the interview that our former Delegate was different from the one published, we have always supported Network Radio but think that this version of the interview has given a skewered representation of our region and it’s former Delegate.
With this in mind I publish the full transcript of the interview so nations and regions can see just how the Network Radio version was edited.
::Interview begins::
Can you give me a brief resume of this nation, and how you think they will differ from your previous advocate?
He came to us from the ACC ( a little surprising but he claimed to of left them because of political differences) and is a semi regular poster on our message boards.
He’s also done a fantasic job of creating a map of our region and is working on insignias for the Delegate and Advocate positions and has repeatedly demonstrated his capable manner in terms of respect for our ways and traditions.
Is there going to be a shift in the Urbanites overall outlook, I see you have also re-jigged your advocates’ portfolios, is the style of government changing?
Other than a new nation becoming Advocate I don’t see that the “look” will change very much, in terms of style I’m sure that it will change significantly, our region had some problems recently with protocal and this new addition plus the good work of our Advocates will resolve that.
Basically we will become a lot more in tune with each other and our working practices. The new Foreign Affairs Advocate was appointed partly due to his ability to work as part of a team.
What is your vision for the future of your region, and how it relates to its friends and enemies?
This is a new age for our region, we and our friends and allies in the coalition go from strength to strength, the new appointments and broadening of remits will mean a more effective region able to assist where needed and to respond to diplomatic situations with speed and clarity.
This of course bodes ill for our enemies (whoever they are, seeing as we’ve had no formal declaration of hostilities we have no officially recognised enemies) and as we’ve seen our involvment with the coalition and focus with the Mutual Assistance Pact will mean their days are numbered.
In future, we will continue to develop our region, get our new website online and proceed to work with others to create and maintain a peacefull, stable and secure world, free from the tyranny of the greifers and their un-enlightened ways.
