Yet another invasion of the Alliance of Socialist States (AoSS) rumbles on for yet another day like a damp squid, in a pond, during a monsoon. The combination of infrequently active delegate and incredibly rambunctious natives often invites invasions which raucously fill the boards for a few days till Amarna awakens from slumber and with a confused expression enquires as to the reason behind the hullabaloo. The usual suspects are all there, the banter as light hearted as usual, and the point, well one day surely the invaders are due to succeed just as a room full typing chimps would eventually accidentally author the complete works of Shakespeare, though why when they could plagiarise Marlowe instead is anyone’s guess. At 7.42 (GMT) on Tuesday morning, less then 24-hours since the commencement of the attack Amarna is safe as houses on 26 and no one else is in the running, it appears to have fizzled out, yet again, without ever waking the delegate at all. It is a tough job running AoSS.
