Hello. This is Joe Bartram, with my first ever NetWorkRadio report. Hopefully I can give NetWorkRadio something new without changing their ability to do honest, up-to-date, reliable reporting.
Last month The Coalition invaded Fortress Harkinnen. The invading delegate was Kings-Land, who was also the founder of Army of Power and a key member of many old crashing regions. When asked to explain the reason behind the invasion, Kings-Land says,
The Coalition's only act was to introduce a password, after which they promptly left. They posted on their forum the purpose of their attack:
Veteran defenders and founder of The Young World, Corinthe, was not to happy about The Coalition's tactics in invading The Coalition's:
Kings-Land said this to me in response:
Harkinnen, who plans to become delegate of The West Pacific in place of the popular Norion, denied that any invasion took place:
Harkinnen later altered these comments:
Kings-Land responded to this:
The delegate at the time Anarchist Elves was unavalible for comment.
Hostilities show no sign of dying down and although the battle is finished, the war is far from over.
Last month The Coalition invaded Fortress Harkinnen. The invading delegate was Kings-Land, who was also the founder of Army of Power and a key member of many old crashing regions. When asked to explain the reason behind the invasion, Kings-Land says,
We wanted to announce ourselves to NationStates, and the best way for us to do so was to invade a well known region, and, since Harkinnen was away wasting his time in The West Pacific, Fortress Harkinnen was a good choice. We also wanted to show how weak Fortress Harkinnen and the World Unification Front Really are, they talk big but they never back their words up with actions. Last of all, we wanted to drive Harkinnen away from The West Pacific, were he annoys the hell out of almost everybody, while trying to overthrow an honest and democratic delegate.
The Coalition's only act was to introduce a password, after which they promptly left. They posted on their forum the purpose of their attack:
The point was sabotaging Harkinnen and Fortress Harkinnen, and flexing our (region crahing) muscles. We have succeeded.
Veteran defenders and founder of The Young World, Corinthe, was not to happy about The Coalition's tactics in invading The Coalition's:
I will not report this to the mods, since the last time it almost got me deleted, but this is griefing and spamming. You spammed the regional happenings, and you should have telegrammed the password to the natives!
Kings-Land said this to me in response:
We supplied the password the one of the natives (Corinthe's puppet I presume), in the hope that she would post it on the board or give it to the more active members (although there aren't many active nations in Fortress Harkinnen ). But we also expected harkinnen to remove the password soon, and he did less that 4 hours later. We did not intentionally spam the regional happenings, we just installed a password and removed all nations from the ban list. But we agree that the password was not widely distributed enough and will make further efforts to ensure natives get it in future invasions.
Harkinnen, who plans to become delegate of The West Pacific in place of the popular Norion, denied that any invasion took place:
There was no invasion that I am aware of. The official stance of both the region of Fortress Harkinnen and the World Unification Front is that The Coalition is spreading lies to tarnish the name of its enemies. They are using underhanded techniques to slander the name of legitimate defensive alliances such as the WUF.
Harkinnen later altered these comments:
There was no 'invasion' per se, only a temporary and unauthorized shift in delegacy.
Kings-Land responded to this:
By an invasion we mean region crashing. Even Harkinnen cannot deny that his region was region crashed.
The delegate at the time Anarchist Elves was unavalible for comment.
