It seems that the time of Myths and legends has not yet left us. The region of Jousters do it Knightly under the leadership of Nargs has invaded Ragnarok, the Nordic region crashers’ haven and woken its snowy hills with the ring of axe on shield.
Most of the invading nations have been involved in the recent defences of Ios and Romania, however Ragnarok are believed to have been quiet for sometime.
Ragnarok’s attempt under their former leader Pillager Villagers to gain control over the whole north of NationStates brought them into conflict with many nations. Their tactic was to grief regions and then re-found them with puppets. They received some serious Mod attention and Pillager moved all the puppets into a retirement region and gave up the ghost. They seem now to have lost all their former regions including Pirates Den, Iceland, Greenland, The United Kingdom, and Normandy. However, it would seem that memories of their triumphant imperialism live on.
It is uncertain whether Jakevania their current delegate will survive with the support of their remaining five UN members. If they do this may be the spur they needed to wake up and become active again, if not it may be another milestone and their march into the wilderness.
This may be an invasion by the group of nations we used to call the GLA, if so it will be interesting to see how well they abide by the rules of NationStates.
We’ll bring you more news as it breaks.
Edit: Ragnarok has fallen, it remains to be seen what this will mean for the hapless natives.

Well 3 am Eternal was a give away that this was the "GLA" invading and the presence of Thorn and Svirre (neither UN members though) confirms it.
The fact that Ragnarok had a password suggests either foul play or a very strange alliance.

Nargs has ejected the delegate of Ragnarok and appears to have also banned him. Whether this will result in a Moderator becoming involves remains to be seen. By Nargs' company it is safe to assume that he may be more widely known under another name and with a very different reputation. However Nargs is remaining tight lipped except for a statement filled with ineffable ullage.
A classic case of ignotum per ignotius.
Any invaders looking to see some of their old enemies get into trouble should probably watch this region.
