Note: Subtle changes have been made to the tense of this report, reflecting the ongoing nature of these elections. I would like to apologise for prematurely declaring them closed. Twelve pink gins is definitely my limit.
We were all thinking it and it turns out we were all probably right. Lady Rebels is crazy.
Eschewing the normal tendencies of regions to discourage voting by the mentally challenged, the South Pacific is actively encouraging them to compete against each other for electoral success.
Lady Rebels has so far managed to poll three times her nearest rivals' votes and twice the votes for all the other candidates combined.
Whether voters are being won over by puppet induced split personality disorder or forum-induced paranoid schizophrenia is unclear, what is clear is that this is the least important vote on the ballot and worryingly the only one this reporter has chosen to cover.
The current votes in the other contests are below, I'll leave the analysis up to a better woman than myself.
