This is Twinkly sparkles, bringing you the official news that Francos Spain is no longer Delegate in the Pacific!(Though for how long is uncertain)
Though it is unclear why at this moment in time, The pacific has NO DELEGATE at all! Many people are saying that they want peace-lover and freedome speaker CORINTHE to become the Delegate.

Francos is no longer Delegate, and Many people want YOU to take the position. How do you feel?
[glow=blue,2,300]Corinthe:[/glow]
I am running for it, but don't expect me to be delegate for long. With Francos and his friends on the banlist, freedom and free speech will be back. I'm just in it to bring freedom to all the natives of The Pacific, not for the power.
[glow=red,2,300]TWINKLES:[/glow]
Very admirable - could you please tell me how it happened? Why does the Pacific have no Delegate at this moment in time?
[glow=blue,2,300]Corinthe:[/glow]
The update bugged. There is nothing more to say. The discussion has already started by Francos, and that actually triggert me to join The Pacific again.
Btw, if the miracle happens that I become delegate, you may keep me on my promise, to give everybody (Except Francos) an equal chance to become delegate
[glow=red,2,300]TWINKLES:[/glow]
If you were Delegate, what would you do to prevent a 'Francos/ tyrant' situation ever happening again?
[glow=blue,2,300]Corinthe[/glow]
I will do nothing about that. The situation is as it is. Anybody would be free to become delegate. Another dictator would be just another challenge again
I never gave Francos any rest, and I'm not scared, if free speech will bring another Francos in power. Remember, it's just a game
[glow=red,2,300]TWINKLES:[/glow]
Thanks, I'm sure you'd make an excellent Delegate

I now go over to interview one of the natives, Borisland.
[glow=red,2,300]TWINKLES:[/glow]
How do you feel about Francos losing his position as Delegate?
[glow=green,2,300]Borisland[/glow]
I think it's a good opportunity to show Francos that he's not wanted here, and that the only reason he's delegate is by preying on n00b endorsement traders.
[glow=red,2,300]TWINKLES:[/glow]
Who would YOU like to become the next Delegate?
[glow=green,2,300]Borisland:[/glow]
Corinthe.
[glow=red,2,300]TWINKLES:[/glow]
Any particular reason for that decision?
[glow=green,2,300]Borisland:[/glow]She's been a 'victim' of Francos for some time now, and as I see it, it would be poetic justice if she was the one to eject him at long last.

It seems Francos is not the only person to have lost his delegate position for no apparent reason - All over the world Delegated who have been unseated are complaining
My nation, the United States of Free Socialism, lost it's delegacy in the Anticapitalist Alliance region two hours ago. However, with 50 endorsments we should certainly have it; also, no new nation has been appointed delegate by the game.
What's up with this?

It would seem every UN delegate in NationStates has just lost delegate status.
EDIT: Er, well, alot of them at least.
Further edit: Okay, it looks to just be a (perhaps induced) side effect of [violet] kicking everything back into motion again.
Edit #3: Okay, best I can figure, every region which already had an update earlier today just lost its delegate, while regions which haven't experienced an update for the last day or two are functioning normally.

Greetings to All and Sundry,
I too am among the many long established Nations, who mysteriously just lost their Delegateship, but as I have not lost my Endorsements I am not overly worried. Also, I am relieved to find out that all of the endorsments I have given to UN Proposals hasn't vanished (which apparently happens during Delegate changes).
This will likely get taken care of in the next system update and if not the Admin will go to work on whatever new bug has surfaced. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the time change, Daylight Savings Time, but it did seem to coincide with the event. I suggest staying calm and letting Admin sort the thing out. Even if they can't do anyting about it, there's precious little you can do about it and panicking will accomplish little.

Reploid Productions (A senior Game moderator) says
A nation's data somehow got screwed up, and the server update got stuck on that nation and couldn't move past it. We're still not sure how Neo Wisconsin got mucked up in the first place x_xthat
So it seems Francos is not the only one to feel it...
------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, In the pacific, Corinthes quest for Delegate seems to be attracting some fans... 'The free land of Corinthe for delegate' has also joined in the festivities (Her first fan nation... rather different to Francos enemy-nation *LOL*) and I am guessing that it won't be long before many others do... There is no denying that Corinthe wouldn't do a good job, and her endorsements are rapidly growing (a little behind Francos, but still) And she does seem to be almost the opposite to him...
[glow=blue,2,300]Please people, do not send TGs to the endorcees of Francos!
Telegramming would be spamming. I will not break any rules to become delegate. That would be against everything I stand for!
-=Corinthe=-[/glow]
And she even has the support of a few familiar faces...
[glow=green,2,300]Hello, I too support Corinthe and that is why I'm not here asking for endorsements. this is, as some of you know, Jennivier, or my puppet nation at least. Good luck to all of you, it is time this region be set free and given back to its members.[/glow]
Good luck to everyone involved Its nice to see some good, healthy competition in the pacific! Its a welcome change from tyranny...
