This is Jerome Hawkins with WorldNews, broadcasting from within the RadioWorld FM303. Today we have been to Monte Carlo where several things have happened during the last days. We tried to interview the current delegate there Zu Darkness but he was very busy and asked us to talk to Mendanau.
We took him up on his words and approached Mendanau for the interview.
Jerome Hawkins Mendanau, we have spoken before when you and several other nations took the region of Monte Carlo to build it up. For new listeners you can catch up by reading the story here. I thank you for your time and for once again answering my questions.
Mendanau You are welcome.
Jerome Hawkins When we spoke earlier, there was another delegate here. Then Mammothistan became delegate and he sent me several telegrams to get interviewed. Unfortunately I hadn't the time until now. Now, how come Mammothistan was chosen to be selected delegate when later on it showed that he was against those values you and your people belived in?
Mendanau Mammothistan arrived in Monte Carlo and endorsed Green Wolves, which gave him a total of 2 verified endorsements. Our forces were called upon to liberate Oceania from the Empire of Power and about that time, Mammothistan had the same amount of endorsements as Green Wolves. As you know, in situations like that, a new delegate is always chosen over an existing one. He used that to eject Green Wolves, and then withdrew from the delegate seat.
Jerome Hawkins Was Mammothistan really a native of Monte Carlo?
Mendanau I don't believe he was. It has been noted that after Mammothistan was ejected, he left the Rejected Realms and has now taken residence in the region of Atlantic Alliance.
Jerome Hawkins What did Mammothistan do that broke your values and purposes in the region of Monte Carlo?
Mendanau The only thing Mammothistan had a chance to do was password protect Monte Carlo, thus blocking new and original nations from entering the region to begin the revitalization process. Since our forces are here to help, we believe the borders need to remain open at all times, even if we are being threatened by hostile forces bent on invading the region.
Jerome Hawkins Can Mammothistan be one of the nations that ejected Justice4All, Poofity Land and Maine Road from Monte Carlo? See that story here
Mendanau It is entirely possible that Mammothistan could have been one of the so-called defenders. It is hard to say for sure though, as his actions before he was promptly ejected for trying to close down Monte Carlo's borders suggest that he was more likely just a rogue nation with his own agenda.
Jerome Hawkins. If Mammothistan now resides in the Atlantic Alliance, what purpose could the ACC have in Monte Carlo? Any guesses?
Mendanau The Atlantic Alliance has not made any statements concerning Monte Carlo. I know they have other things that are currently on their plate at the moment which is far more important than some idle region with a short history of chaos and ruin. As far as I know, Mammothistan was not an agent of the A.A. and his movement to the Atlantic controlled region may mean that he wants to be recruited into that organization.
Jerome Hawkins. You say that you will continue the work of the RRA (at least Mendanau says so) but you on the other hand will succeed. How will that come to pass?
Mendanau There is no real guarantee of success unless every nation within Monte Carlo is willing to help make their region a better place. We're going to begin recruiting new and hopefully active nations to bring some life back to Monte Carlo, and we shall remain here as long as it takes to ensure a stable government of the people is in place and successfully working. Once that is taken care of, we shall keep an ambassador in the region to continue monitoring the progress, which is something I believe the RRA didn't do.
Jerome Hawkins There are a lot of regions that still carry Monte Carlo as an ally. The people in Monte Carlo that the RRA brought know nothing of these alliances. Will you forge new alliances with the old ones or will you let the people of Monte Carlo decide?
Mendanau We know that the Monte Carlo of old was allied with several other regions and the A.D.N. That was the past though, and we are looking toward the future. We will offer up suggestions for alliances, give a little bit of information regarding these regions and organizations, and then let the people decide who and what they want to be a part of.
Jerome Hawkins. What are your hopes regarding the region?
Mendanau Our hopes are simple. We just want to see Monte Carlo active and prospering, without the worries of the past coming back to haunt this land. What I mean by that is this region has been unstable for so long, and that's not fair to those who are trying to make a living here. It must be hard to wake up in the mornings and be unsure of what each day will hold.
Jerome Hawkins Anything else you would like to add?
Mendanau If there are any original members of Monte Carlo reading this, we'd like to hear from you. Thanks.
Jerome Hawkins Thank you Mendanau, a plesaure as always.
Mendanau It was fun. To the next time.
