This is Lonsdale the reporter broadcasting to you live from A Pretty Good region as the scene unfolds. We can surmise a guess that this region once had less than twenty nations yesterday, but has now ballooned to nearly seventy nations as of this broadcast.
Invaders from DEN, World Axis of Dominion, and The Whole have invaded A Pretty Good Region. TITO, 10000 Islands Treaty Organization, has intervened in the attack. It is usually proper for a defender counter-attack to involve endorsing the native delegate, but the native delegate, Amandzania is inactive thirteen days and so Plan B, endorse a defender, was utilized. Because TITO is leading this operation, defenders are asked to endorse TITO soldier Titanica.
DEN was lead by Rarely Steamboats, who had twenty endorsements from fellow invaders. It seemed as though TITO may have lost this battle. A small attachment from the Rejected Realms Army arrived to augment TITO forces. With the reinforcements from the Rejected Realms and a couple more arriving from 10000 Islands, TITO gained a crucial lead over the invaders.
Soon after this other soldiers from various regions in the Alliance Defense Network began showing up, adding more and more numbers to the defenders.
As of this broadcast Titanica leads with exactly twenty eight endorsements. A Pretty Good Region's population has doubled, tripled, and then some to seventy nations.
A combined force of some fifty nations are doing battle in that little-known region tonight. By morning one side has to become the winner. It appears as though TITO has taken the lead, through so-called "defender unity" and their alliances with other armies, but anything may happen tonight.
Lonsdale the Reporter, inside a canteen with a view of the TITO entrenchments, reporting through a microphone connected to RadioWorld headquarters. I will give you more updates as this night unfolds.

Initially the scene around me was excited; men rushing in to do street combat on what may have been a quick fight. DEN forces had the advantage in numbers, but TITO was able to match them. Now there are much more men involved this time, but the scen is not the same.
From inside this canteen, I can tell the mood is different now. Reinforcements are meeting up with comrades from their home regions and preparing positions; fortifying, digging in. No major attack has been mounted by DEN lately. There has been little exchange of ammunition or words to the other side in the last two hours. The order for all soldiers is "wait". It is quiet now.
A messenger from the TITO commander here, Titanica, has given me this message. It was also resent to all TITO, RRA, and ADN soldiers.
"Earlier today the region of DEN sent in several nations in an attempt to take over this region. This unwarranted attack is led by Rarely Steamboats.
Normally we would endorse the current delegate, but since he's been inactive for 13+ days, I will be the endorsement leader in his absence. If we win, the non native attacking nations will be ejected and the defenders will leave.
Be aware that DEN and her allies have been quite active with a misinformation campaign, so just be aware that updates will only come from Grub.
Let's keep up the good work, everyone."
I hear just now a short burst of gunfire.
DEN leader Gen Collin Powell has made a response.
"That's interesting of you to say, Titanica. There were several indigenous nations online today, and they were aware of the operation. How come those nations were not endorsed before they relocated?
I certainly understand why TITO is here, but your explanation of why a TITO rep (and not one of the several active indigenous nations) is simply not credible.
What does TITO have to do with this anyway? A Pretty Good Region is not an ally of 10000 Islands nor affiliated with TITO. This is not sour grapes, mind you; simply a question."
It seems the lines of communication between the two sides has opened, and Titanica and Collin Powell have begun shouting at each other across the battlefield. This is Lonsdale the reporter, not signing off.

*NetWorkRadio broadcasting is suddenly interrupted. Errol Ingham Lonsdale is cut off, and a pirate radio station calling itself Den Media Affairs Dept takes over.*
MARCH 29, 2004: Terror Reigns in A Pretty Good Region!
The region of "Pretty Good Region" was rocked on Sunday by the entry of rebel forces from the W.A.R global organization. Storm troopers from the regions of DEN, World Axis of Domination and The Whole entered the battlefield and clashed with the forces of TITO; the military branch of the region of 10000 Islands. The indigenous nations of A Pretty Good Region began reinforcing their borders against the onslaught; suffering several casualties before beginning their counter-attack on the rebel armies.
Latest reports from the theater indicate that the rebels have massed for a larger push into the war-torn region. General Collin Powell, leader of the rebel forces, was quoted as saying, "Lord Grub [of TITO] has proven himself a worthy adversary. This fight is far from over, however, and it is becoming clear that combined forces of W.A.R. will win the day."
As of the time of this report, it is unclear where the pitched battle stands. Our embedded reporters are sending up-to-the-minute information, and we will keep you informed of the status of this information as we receive it.
*DEN Media Affairs Dept becomes phades away as normal NetWorkRadio broadcasting resumes*
Listeners, I am not certain of what had happened only a moment ago. It seems our frequency found a visitor with a message to deliver to you. That may have been certainly unusual to most of you, but in a war zone such as this it is not uncommon for one side to engage in the use of propaganda and radio pirating. That is only the nature of this work.

Only minutes after the DEN radio broadcast, which I soon found out was also rebroadcast through streets over A Pretty Good Region to all soldiers from both sides, Titanica responded to Collin Powell's challenge. *Faintly, almost in the background, a voice is heard over a loudspeaker system*"One of TITO's goals is to help all regions live in peace. The 10000 Islands was once attacked in a very similar manner (by the Empire of Power) to what you guys are doing now. Thankfully, with the help of outside regions, we held off the attackers and kept our freedom. Since that time on, we have provided assistance to regions that are attacked without reason. We will let our past actions, and what we'll do tomorrow, speak for themself. BTW, I have a complete list of all native nations. If you would like to admit defeat, we will now accept your unconditional surrender before you are ejected." DEN soldiers booed Titanica's demand for a surrender. It is likely they will continue to be hold up until the battle is fully over, and possibly long after it ends. *Another loudspeaker can be heard, this time coming from DEN leader Gen Collin Powell*'You do realize that this contest is not quite over, Titanica? DEN will leave once we see TITO begin to endorse a native, indigenous nation of A Pretty Good Region. Only a FOUNDER or indigenous delegate can engage in mass ejections after taking a region, Titanica; you know to do otherwise is a bona-fide, genuine NS violation. DEN is playing by the rules in this action; is TITO?" I have thus far heard no response from the other side. It is probable many of them have gone to sleep for the night, awaiting the surprise of the morning. If Gen Collin Powell is correct, will the moderators take action? It is likely; the account of this event was broadcast through NetWorkRadio, the world's most credible news source. We will see. The current tally is TITO: 30, DEN: 20. Once again the battlefield has settled down to a quiet slumber, restless at times but thankful when it is achieved. I am Errol Ingham Lonsdale, reporting for RadioWorld FM303. Live from A Pretty Good Region.
