The region of Zealotine was invaded by The Coalition, with support from The Gathering, yesterday.
Dabbi King, High Commander of The Gathering, and Minister of Intelligence for the Coalition, is the current delegate. Dabbi pledged to let the region choose the new delegate in the WFE:
The invasion provoked a mixed reaction among the Zealotine natives, with ex-delegate Apuent unhappy.
While Fhiz saw the bright side:
Kings-Land, remained adamant that The Coalition had done the region a favor by invading.
He further explained this to me:
He also made public his desire for free elctions in Zealotine:
Laid Back Rappers, The Coalition's Minister of Communications, signaled the Coalition's intentions for the region:
Kings-Land, however, refused to comment on what would happen to Zealotine after the planned election, or when it would happen.
There have been no actions on the defenders side at the current time, but that may change when the handover of power is arranged. The big question is whether The Coalition intend to keep their word if a delegate who does not represent their views is elected. Or whether they will have a say in the election.

Soon we will attempt to organise democratic elections.

Well this is a travesty, I've been part of this great region since the beginning, and it’s never come under foreign rule until now. And it wasnt as though the previous leader was bad. Hell, I account for 20% of the region, and I sure didnt want to be "liberated" as you say. I just want those who remember me as the leader to remember that I was the best leader of this region, and have always been faithful to Zealotine.
While Fhiz saw the bright side:
It's about time we got a GOOD regional motto!
Kings-Land, remained adamant that The Coalition had done the region a favor by invading.
The old delegate was a dictator, pure and simple.
He further explained this to me:
The delegate just before the invasion was inactive, but it was the one before him who was the dictator. He ejected many natives who had enough endorsements to rival him, and ejected any nations, native or otherwise, who challanged this.
He also made public his desire for free elctions in Zealotine:
It is the nations that call this nation home that will decide. Let me make it perfectly clear that The Coalition intend to make this region truly free. We will make no compromise to achieve that.
Laid Back Rappers, The Coalition's Minister of Communications, signaled the Coalition's intentions for the region:
This has now added an extra section to the Coalition and we intend to keep it.
Kings-Land, however, refused to comment on what would happen to Zealotine after the planned election, or when it would happen.
I can only say that elections will occur when we have enough strong nations to represent the interests of the region. Whether we make it a colony or not is irrelevent. First we must find a new delegate.
