Hello loyal listeners! This is Dan Melican with the other side of the Francos Spain story. I am here with the founder of Pacific Army, a region which until recently was working for the Pacific. His name is The Savage Lands, and he has some very interesting things to say.
Dan: Hello, Mr. Savage. How are you this fine evening?
Savage Lands: I'm just fine thank you. Shall we begin now?
Dan: Absolutely, thanks for coming.
Savage Lands: No problem.
Dan: How did Francos gain so many endorsements? Did he do anything backhanded?
Savage Lands: He didn't do anything wrong in gaining so many endorsements. He gained them pretty much the same way I did and the same way Thedoc did. The thing that has irked so many people is he never participated in the Pacific government. He only posted once on our forum. Also, he stayed really quiet and didn't communicate with anyone, not on the message board, nothing. And then when he recieved almost as many endorsements as Thedoc, Thedoc didn't know who this guy was at all, so he banned him for the safety of the Pacific. But Thedoc always was a just leader, so he decided to unban him. That's when Francos Spain slipped back into the Pacific just before reset time and banned Thedoc. He then proceded to ban Amanda Angel, who had over 300 endorsements herself, and to date, he's banned 102 nations, not the 4 nations he claimed earlier........(NOTE: This figure may or may not be accurate at this time)
Dan: Wow, 102? That's amazing. Anyway, is there anything besides the bannings that is making you all mad? Certainly you must have some reason for your anger. After all, you didn't like him before all this started happening, did you?
SL: Oh and to amend my first statement, he just banned another nation, so make that 103.
I am upset with him because he is ruining this game for so many people. The Pacific wasn't just a region for nations to be born in, a number of us had decided to call it our permenant home. But now, because we spoke out against oppression and tyranny, we are banned from our Motherland. I have heard the MOD's state time and again that what he's doing isn't illegal by the rules of NationStates, and they're right. But it is wrong morally. I've already heard from some of my fellow nations that they have young children who play this game, and their young children were banned for no good reason and couldn't talk to their friends on the message board anymore.
Look at what Francos Spain has put in the Pacific's factbook entry. He claims to be promoting freedom?? How is it freedom when you can't speak out against him, when you can't gain a lot of endorsments, in fear you'll be kicked out of your home? And just for the record, even though the MOD's say he's not doing anything illegal, even they hope Francos Spain will be removed from power:

Boy, those Pacific regions are lightning rods for hardball politics.
Nations appealing for moderator intervention need to understand that the game allows players to act unfairly. Francos Spain, like many before, has decided to be ruthless in the quest for power and bump off any potential threats. This is appalling and undemocratic behavior, and personally I hope residents in the Pacific yank their endorsements. But they are not compelled to do so. Delegates are elected by region residents, not by mods. If the Pacific leaves Francos Spain in power, that is their choice.
In many cases before this one, a Delegate's tyranny has come back to bite him, eventually leading to his unseating. I encourage nations offended by Francos Spain's acts to try the same. This is a job for Pacific residents, not the mods.
Dan: [violet] him/her/itself has voiced an opinion on the subject? How flattering for all of you. If the mods support Francos, it seems as though you don't stand a chance. Do you have any plans for dealing with this? Any that you can talk about anyway?
SL: No, I'm not at liberty to discuss the Pacific Armys plans to overthrow this despot. Just let it be known that his reign of terror is already in decline. Nations of the Pacific are waking up, and endorsements have been dropping off this guy like stones. He likes to put a link up on the message board every once in a while, a link to the MOD forum so people can see that his actions are "legal". He holds onto the MOD's words like an infant on his mothers breast.
Dan: That last one was kinda...well, mean. Do you personally have any history with Francos? Is there anything that you know about his past that may fuel your and others' displeasure with him?
SL: No, I have no personal history with him at all. In fact, when I was still in the Pacific and I saw him gaining endorsements quickly, it was I that first telegrammed him and asked him nicely to participate in the Pacific government. He eventually did post once on our forum, but that was all anyone ever heard of him. I guess he thought it would be best to sneak in under all of our noses and then stab us in the back. Well I suppose his little plan worked............
Dan: Is there anything you would like to add? I would hate to think I deprived you of an opportunity to say something...
SL: No, I think that's about it.
Dan: Thank you kindly for your time, and I hope that everything works out for whatever side is right.
Dan: In other news, PW3 is currently in need of a new producer, as our last one has suffered from a very bad disease called death. Now, we already have one candidate, but in the case that they do not accept or do not work out, we would like to hear of any other interested parties. Telegram me at RadioWorld FM303 PW3 in the region NetWorkRadio. Thank you, and good night. *click*
